There’s no question that focused attention is required for strong results. Through brain mapping, however, we are learning that being able to consciously sharpen our mental focus produces significant benefits to multiple forms of empathy which in turn impacts decision quality, relationships, systems awareness, and resilience via the ability to return to “normal” from various emotions.
