For some of us contemplating our career, the notion of following your passion can seem almost outlandishly optimistic; clearly, one must attend to the cold, hard realities of life and accept the most responsible options available to us. As I contemplate the third element of my career (corporate HR, consulting, and now professional coaching), I really enjoyed Larry Smith’s very dry sense of humour around the reasons people create to not follow their passions. For me, it’s the difference between living in black and white or colour.
If you’re feeling like there are aspects of your life that need to be in colour, or unstuck, or that you are itchin’ to follow a new path, please reach out to me. I’d love to help you!
